Moto Z2 Play Smartphone Up For Pre-Booking In India For Rs 2,000

After launching Moto Z2 Play in US, Lenovo owned Motorola has announced that the smartphone is up for pre-booking in India from Thursday (8 June) at Rs 2000. Moto Z2 Play was launched in US at $ 499 (roughly Rs 32,100).

The successor of Moto Z Play runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and powered by 2.2 Ghz Octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor. It comes in two RAM and storage options- 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB through a MicroSD card.

Moto Z2 Play features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass. It sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with large f/1.7 aperture and LED Flash. On the front is a 5-megapixel wide angle camera with LED Flash.

The 145g handset is backed by a non-removable 3000mAh battery which gets charged 50 percent in 30 minutes with TurboPower. Moto Z2 Play is launched as a single-SIM (nano) smartphone in US.

Connectivity options includes- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 and 3.5mm audio-jack. The smartphone is water-repellent and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the front.

The new smartphone comes with new Moto Mods which turns it into a movie projector, stereo speaker and a 10x optical zoom camera.
