Mohit Malhotra To Replace Sunil Duggal As Dabur India CEO

Mohit Malhotra will replace Sunil Duggal as Dabur India’s new CEO, from April 1, 2019. Malhotra currently heads the company’s India business.

Malhotra is 49 and did his MBA from University of Pune. He also has an executive master’s in international business from IIFT.

Having joined Dabur as a management trainee in 1994, Malhotra has risen through ranks. Malhotra has also handled key assignments like being CEO of Dabur International. He was based out of Dubai during this period.

Malhotra will work as CEO-Designate till March 31, 2019, under the guidance of Duggal.

Dabur India Ltd chairman Anand C Burman was quoted as saying: “The Board of Directors of the Company had undertaken a Succession Planning exercise to identify the successor to take over the responsibility from Sunil Duggal, who has been the Dabur India Ltd CEO since 2002. Duggal was entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring a smooth transition. As a result of this process, Mohit Malhotra was found to be suitable as a successor to Duggal. The Board has approved the appointment of Malhotra as the new CEO of Dabur India Ltd.”
