Lexus Rolls Out Hybrid Luxury Coupé @Rs 1.96 Cr
Lexus India also announces local assembly of its select portfolio

Toyota’s luxury arm Lexus celebrated its third anniversary on Friday, January 31 by launching the LC 500h hybrid electric luxury coupe at Rs. 1.96 crore (ex showroom). The company also launched three variants of NX 300h F Sport tagged at Rs 54.9 lakh, Rs 59.9 lakh and Rs 60.6 lakh, respectively.
All the new models- ES 300h, NX 300h and LC 500h are BS-VI compliant.
The flagship product now joins the Lexus India’s stable with the RX450h, LS500h, NX300h and ES300h amongst other offerings.
To be imported as a CBU and attract more than 100 per cent duty, LC500h is expected to compete with Jaguar F-Pace and BMW Z4.
Lexus India also announced the commencement of local assembly of cars. It said it is assembling the BS-VI compliant ES 300h luxury sedan at Toyota Kirloskar’s Bangalore facility with deliveries expected to begin in February. The ES 300h Exquisite is priced at Rs 51.9 lakh, while ES 300h Luxury trim is tagged at Rs 56.95 lakh (all ex-showroom).
“This new chapter is significant for Lexus and for our presence in India. It also clearly shows our strong trust in the skills and craftsmanship of the Indian workforce for producing quality products,” said Masakazu Yoshimura, Chairman of Lexus India.
