With its ever ushering legacy, the TiEcon Ahmedabad efficiently managed to capture the true business essence of Gujarat — encouraging business evolutions, solid networking, showcase the radically transforming landscape of entrepreneurship in Gujarat.

“When I became an entrepreneur, many things were missing. It was a learning curve as we grew, travelling across the country, identifying and addressing needs. Hardwork and understanding consumer psychology was the best way to grow steadily, while training family members as well,” said Patel.

One of the most interesting and inspiring sessions was by A. Velumani, MD, Thyrocare Technologies. He left the audience spellbound in his 30-minute session post-lunch by providing them with the idea of romancing with risk.

Velumani stressed that the basis of entrepreneurship should be the ability to take risks.

“In the mid 90’s, I risked big stakes in my life to set up Thyrocare and today I am here talking about its success,” he said.

While most companies are afraid of giving important roles to freshers, Thyrocare offers employment to a large number of them.

Talking about his key to success he said that the best way forward for an entrepreneur is to seek profit from vendors and from customers.

“Believe in yourself, do not get influenced, resist temptation, plan ahead and be ready to lose, that is how you will succeed. Make others win and you will never lose,” he added.
