Japan Elections 2021 – What Stars Foretell

The analysis of Japan foundation chart {28th April 1952 at Tokyo} shows the country is under running mahadasha (main period) of Mercury, which is about to end in December 2022.

Japan will hold a general election on Oct. 31, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida choosing to go to the polls earlier than speculated in the apparent hope of capitalizing on an initial popularity. Kishida apparently wants to secure a mandate to proceed with the priority issues of improving the coronavirus response and dragging the pandemic-hit economy out of the doldrums.

Opposition parties are concerned about a potential rebound in public support for the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) after its change of leader. The main opposition Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (CDP), is struggling to differentiate itself from Kishida, who has vowed to prioritize wealth redistribution — a policy advocated by the CDP — so ordinary people can share the benefits of growth.

The analysis of Japan foundation chart {28th April 1952 at Tokyo} shows the country is under running mahadasha (main period) of Mercury, which is about to end in December 2022. Mercury is debilitated in the fourth house aspected by retrograde Saturn from tenth house. The present running anterdasha (sub period) is of Mercury-Saturn which started from April 2020 and resulted in postponement of Olympics 2020 and unexpected loses to the country.

The analysis of voting day chart synthesized with foundation chart readings of Japan indicate the change in the government in the present elections. It seems that the gamble played by Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) represented by present Prime Minister Mr. Kishida to go for early elections may backfire and he may lose to opposition Constitutional Democratic Party (CDP) by thin margin.
