India-Pakistan Tension: These Images And Videos About #SurgicalStrike2 Are Fake
Fake news reports are flying thick on India-Pakistan air strikes. Old pictures of a plane crash in Odisha are circulated as downed IAF plane, fake IAF airstrike video goes viral.

On February 27, reports emerged from Pakistani media that their air force had shot down two aircrafts of Indian Air Force inside Pakistani airspace. An article was published on the leading newspaper of Pakistan, dawn.com with a headline "2 Indian aircraft violating Pakistani airspace shot down; pilot arrested."
They also tweeted the claim with an old image:

The same image was posted by Aaj Tak on their report. However, they removed the photo later. The old photo can be seen in the archived articles:
How we found out that the image is fake?
Using a simple Reverse Image Search we found out that the image which is claimed to be of the aircraft that crashed near the LoC in Pakistan is three years old.
What is the truth?
The originality of image dates back to June 2015 when an Indian Air Force fighter trainer aircraft had crashed in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district - 350 km from Bhubaneswar.
An article was published by The Hindu on June 3, 2015 with the same image. The article stated "An Indian Air Force fighter trainer aircraft crashed in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district — 350 km from Bhubaneswar, on Wednesday. Two pilots, who ejected out of the plane, were reported to be safe."
A video claiming to be of India’s cross-border strike went viral on social media. It attracted thousands of views and was widely shared by users. One such example is shared below:
How we found out that the video is fake?
We pasted the video url on Google Chrome extension, InVid and using the keyframes we performed the reverse image search.
The Google search displayed the following searches:
The thumbnails on two searches displayed a similar image on one of the keyframes. We came across a Youtube video that has nearly 2 million hits. It was uploaded on 9 July, 2015.
What is the truth?
The video shared on social media claiming to be that of recent India #SurgicalStrike2 is a trimmed version of an old video of a video game 'Arma 2'.
