ICPB Announces 10th Conventions India Conclave In Hyderabad
The Conclave will be an opportunity to project ICPB as a parent body for marketing India as a preferred convention destination specially in the context of restructuring and strengthening the organisation
India Convention Promotion Bureau has announced its flagship event “Conventions India Conclave” in Hyderabad from 29 – 31 August 2017 at HICC.
As the theme of the event is “Expanding The Boundaries – Mission Possible”, the focus area during the Conclave will be on all segments of MICE Industry - the Incentive, Exhibition and the Corporate Meetings, creating an opportunity for the members to look for new avenues of business development.
The Conclave is not only significant as being the 10th CIC but it will also be an opportunity to project ICPB as a parent body for marketing India as a preferred convention destination specially in the context of restructuring and strengthening the organisation.
Chander Mansharamani, Vice Chairman, ICPB, says, “Not only we will bring synergy between all the segments of MICE Industry – The Incentive, Exhibition and the Corporate Meetings but also bring in the State Government and various Ministries of Govt. of India to one platform to deliberate on the promotion of MICE industry and how with the assistance of ICPB, they can bid for International Conferences.”
The important feature of the Conclave is pre scheduled appointments with domestic and international buyers; mainly the decision makers of various associations and heads of institutions. The members will take the opportunity to network and build up long term relationship and business opportunities.
Some of the expectations from this year’s conclave are to project ICPB as an apparent organization for marketing India as a preferred conference destination, and to reach out to various medical and non-medical associations to bid jointly with ICPB for international conferences.
“We are expecting a good number of domestic and international buyers and with more than 50 exhibitors, the Conclave will have a good opportunity for all of us in MICE Industry to project India as a preferred convention destination,” says Mansharamani.
The exhibition and B2B meetings, with pre-scheduled appointments, will be an important component of the Conclave with 300 delegates during the 2 day event including domestic and international buyers apart from 50 exhibitors.
The event is going to be packed with sessions and panel discussions on various topics like “Technology Innovation in the Meeting Industry”, Incentive – “Meeting expectations of Corporates”, and on synergy between exhibition and conference industry with renowned keynote speakers sharing their experiences.
