In the third edition of the India Business Literature Festival organized by BW Business World, Raju Mandhyan talks about his new book, “Heart of The Close”.

Mandhyan highlights the importance of Leadership required in any organization. He says, “Having effective leaders can help a company achieve its goals and maximize efficiency. More than just talking and walking, Leadership means to empower people. I have to generate leaders, to build leaders.” He further encouraged people to become a better version of themselves, which will help them better handle workplace-related challenges, leaders evoke innovation and creativity and inspire them to reach their full potential.

Speaking about the effective way to get to break through superficial conversations, Mandhyan explains the four major level of questions. Research, Reflection, Realistic, Revealing and comeback with Resounding “Yes” he adds. “To know someone else on a much deeper level is by asking personal questions that bring to surface these deeper ponderings.

The next time you are unwinding with a colleague or a close friend, try asking them a personal question and see if they’re willing to share. You may find that by giving them an outlet to talk about themselves, they may find it therapeutic. If you pay attention and listen, you’ll also learn more about them, boosting your relationship with them to a deeper level.

From where they are to where they want to go, this is what a good Leader do”, he stated.
