With festive season just around the corner, socialising and get together with friends and family is the norm. Here are some easy to make recipes for guests to unwind over, consisting of a dip, a drink, a snack and a dessert. So get ready to welcome your guests this festive season with delicious recipes which can be made in a jiffy.

Schweppes Ginger Ale Float 
Ingredients"    200ml Schweppes Ginger Ale
"    1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream into a beverage made with Schweppes Ginger Ale

Light Lime Cheesecake
"    2 ½ cups Minute Maid® Nimbu
"    1 ½ packets gelatin, unflavored
"    1 cup sugar
"    2 packages reduced-fat cream cheese, softened (237 ml)
"    1 grated lime peel
"    2 cups frozen light whipped topping, thawed
"    1 cup mixed berries for garnish, optional
"    1 ¼ cup low-fat graham cracker crumbs
"    3 tablespoons butter, melted
"    3 tablespoons water

Total Time: 1 hr 5 min | Prep Time: 30 min | Cook Time: 35 min
Making: Place juice in a saucepan over medium-high heat and reduce to 1 cup, about 25 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F. Make crust by combining graham cracker crumbs, butter and water in a bowl, stirring until mixture begins to stick together. Press crust mixture into bottom and about 1" up the sides of an 8-inch spring form pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely. Combine gelatin and sugar in a bowl. Add the boiling juice reduction to the gelatin mixture and stir until gelatin and sugar are dissolved. Cool, but do not allow gelatin to set up. Beat the cream cheese and lime zest with an electric mixer until smooth and incorporated. Reduce speed and slowly add gelatin mixture until thoroughly combined. Fold in light whipped topping by hand using a rubber spatula. Scrape the filling into prepared crust and distribute evenly. Chill for 8 hours or overnight. Garnish with fresh berries, if desired, and serve.

Coca-Cola Dipping Sauce
"    473 ml tomato puree
"    1 cup apple cider vinegar
"    1 tablespoon  mustard
"    1 ½ teaspoon cumin
"    1 teaspoon coriander
"    1 cup Coke syrup
"    1 tablespoon onion powder
"    1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
"    59 ml light corn syrup
"    ½ teaspoon salt

Total Time: 12 min | Prep Time: 2 min | Cook Time: 10 min
Making: Combine all ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. Chill and serve.

Fanta Mug Chicken - Chicken Nuggets with Dipping Sauce
"    1 tablespoon butter
"    300 ml Pineapple Puree
"    1 tablespoon corn starch
"    100 ml orange Juice
"    1 tablespoon BBQ Sauce
"    1 500 ml bottle Fanta
"    1 Egg
"    ½ cup milk
"    1 bowl bread crumbs
"    Salt, Pepper to taste
"    1 bowl crushed cornflakes
"     ½ bowl Gram Flour
"    500 gms Chicken (cut nugget style)

Total Time: 30 min | Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 20 min
Making: Add butter, Pineapple puree and 1tbsp corn starch along with orange Juice and BBQ Sauce in a pan; blend and boil till the consistency becomes thick. Add 100 ml Fanta and let it thicken. Add Bread Crumbs, rest of the Fanta, Salt, Pepper and mix! In another bowl, add Egg, Milk and stir. In a plate, add Crushed Cornflakes, Gram Flour and mix. Dip the chicken in egg mixture and Fanta batter; Roll in Bread Crumbs. Deep fry the chicken; Serve the nuggets with Fanta Pineapple Dipping Sauce.
