During his career, Vaswani incubated several new businesses; built strong customer relationships across the globe; improved profitability; expanded into new markets; acquired several companies and forged global joint ventures and alliances.

Vaswani has more than 27 years of leadership experience in the global IT services industry. Prior to joining Dell, Vaswani was the Joint CEO of Wipro’s IT business and a member of the Board of Wipro Limited.

As the Joint CEO of Wipro’s IT Business and a Member of the Board of Wipro Limited, he shared the responsibility for strategy and business operations of Wipro’s $6 Billion IT Services & Products business. He worked with Wipro for 26 years from 1985 to 2011.

Vaswani joined Dell in 2011 as Executive Vice President & Global Head, Applications & BPO, Dell Services. He led the team responsible for driving the growth and transformation of Dell Services' Applications & BPO business. Areas of focus included building solutions for the future, based on next-generation technologies including mobility, social media, cloud, and application modernization, delivered through next-generation service models.

After that, he was appointed as the President of Dell Services in 2012 and served for four years. During this period, he led Dell Services, the global IT services, and business solutions unit of Dell.

Post the acquisition of Dell Services by NTT DATA, he continued to lead the acquired entity, now NTT DATA Services.
