Fingent, a global leader in custom software development, IT consulting, and outsourcing, has been certified as a Great Place to Work by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The company is ranked in the 33rd position among the Top 50 Great Mid-size Workplaces in India.
The Great Place to Work certification stands for establishing a High-Trust, High-Performance Culture™ that offers a highly-rewarding workplace where employees trust the organization they work for, take pride in what they do, and experience true camaraderie. The award, based on Great Place to Work® Institute’s rigorous and objective methodology, is considered the gold standard for defining great workplaces across business, academia and government organisations.
In response to the Great Place To Work® Trust Index© Survey, an overwhelming 96% of employees have rated Fingent as a great place to work.
The company's high-scoring statements are significantly higher than the industry's average, especially for factors crucial in current times:
· Providing a safe work environment without politicking and backstabbing
· fair treatment of all employees irrespective of caste or race, and
· building a friendly workplace for all.
Commenting on the recognition, Samuel Varghese (Chairman and CEO at Fingent) says, "At Fingent, we strive to create an environment that makes people feel engaged, appreciated, and motivated to succeed. The Great Place to Work certification proves the trust employees have in us and encourages us to deliver our promises better."
The world has been facing a tsunami of challenges over the past two years that severely affected the economy. In these turbulent times, being employee-centric is as crucial as being customer-centric. It is here that Fingent scores high. It’s focus on ethics and human values have helped it cut office politics (91 against the industry average of 77), ensure job security (96 against 84), and practice right hiring practices (94 against 85).
COVID-19 has transformed the way of work for most organizations. Since March 2020, Fingent's leadership has taken several proactive steps to curtail the impact of the pandemic on its employees' financial safety, health and well-being. The company maintained salaries and did not lay off staff when business was impacted by the pandemic. It offered a flexible WFH option for all its employees and adequately sanitized the office premises. Fingent arranged a massive COVID vaccination drive for all its employees and dependents adhering to the pandemic protocols and safety regulations at its campus.
"We have always been, and continue to be a people-first company. As we constantly try to innovate and execute better, we focus on expanding our lateral hiring process. At each stage of our growth, our core values have remained the basis of our work and organizational culture," says Dileep Jacob, Senior VP - Global Operations at Fingent.
The Great Place To Work® Trust Index© Survey saw employees at Fingent appreciating the growth opportunities they have and what makes a career with Fingent desirable.
Deepu Prakash (SVP - Process and Technology, Fingent) says, " The Great Place to work certification, and the top ranking are a validation of the Human centered leadership practices that we practice day in day out. Going against the norm in the tech industry is tough, but this recognition gives us motivation and impetus to chart a different path. One that’s based on human values and not just the balance sheet." https://youtu.be/6fgQMZUERxE
