A mother at heart but yet a successful entrepreneur, Malika Sadani, Founder & CEO of The Moms Co. whose on a mission to help moms, make natural safe and effective choices for themselves and their family.

The Moms Co. primarily caters to providing solutions to expecting moms and babies while creating the safest range of formulations for them. Started about three and a half years back, The Moms Co. in FMCG space is creating natural, toxin-free solutions for moms and babies.

With a community of about half a million moms, the company has a plethora of products for both mothers and children. As an entrepreneur and founder, Sadani thinks that the idea is to not to give up along with the skill of pushing it and take your venture forward every single day while living through the ups and downs is the real purpose of an entrepreneur.

“I’m obsessed about the product,” informed Sadani because of her passion to support all the mothers. “However, the company is highly led by product innovation and product development along with the strongest backing of the word of mouth has helped us grow,” told Sadani about the organic growth of the company.

As Sadani is a mother herself so she understands the concerns that mom’s place. Describing her journey, she added, “I have two daughters and both of them had skin conditions that needed to be addressed especially. I couldn’t find the products locally available. After coming back to India from London, while looking for options, we were surprised at how so many moms were discussing skin care product instead of discussing what nodules in case of postpartum depression or even dental hygiene. There was a market that existed out there and we went there to fill the gap.” With an MBA and engineering background, Sadani had no idea how things would work, but her personality as an obsessive mom drove her. Already a leading brand in the mom and baby space, the brand is present across hospitals and is highly recommended by Doctors and has strong advocacy among moms.

Working with experts across Australia, India and Switzerland for over four years, its team has created natural and toxins free products that are Australia-Certified and made safely along with dermatologically tested for sensitive skin. “While being developed and manufactured in India, our products are created to standards that allow us to sell the products across most countries around the world,” informed Sadani. Talking about the challenges, Sadani informed, “When we started, we had to struggle to convince manufacturers, suppliers and formulators that there was a better way and it was possible to build a business based on good, honest principles and honest ingredients.” With access to a host of great mentors from Shripad, who is considered India’s best brand professional to Nandu who was a Board Member at Nestle, we have great people in the brand,” the co-founder informed.

Sadani as an extremely inspiring woman entrepreneur hopes to support various other women through her story and inspiring a host of women entrepreneurs who believe thSadaniat they can’t go and achieve their dreams because they need to be at home. “I’d like to tell them that they can, and they must chase their dreams because that’s the best gift they can give themselves by being role models to their kids as well. Today I meet many women and mothers who have great ideas but don’t have a role model to look up to. In many cases, they have a clearly identified need and a sharp understanding of the business they could build, but don’t have the support at home,” said Sadani expressing her concern and further empowering women.
