It appears that the suspense over the winning bid for Air India may get over soon. Senior officials from the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) are scheduled to brief the media at 4 PM on October 08. It is expected that DIPAM, the nodal agency in charge of the disinvestment process for the national carrier Air India may announce the name of the winning bidder.

As is known, Tata Sons is reportedly ahead in the race to buy the national carrier having offered a significant amount that is significantly more than the next bid amount.

More updates soon.
