Powerful people, mentors and their experiences change your life. Some of those changes last a lifetime. For me, the influence of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) grows and deepens each day. It is indeed profound, dynamic, evolving and has become my web of strength.

Six years ago, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s journey began to weave its power around me and within me. Today, there is more strength in my conviction. I am always energised to jump to the next curve in business, as well as my personal life and creative pursuits, by building opportunities and leading with influence.

In January of 2010, I attended the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s South Asia, “Regional Integration Event” in Jaipur. A particularly distinct memory was the opportunity to play elephant polo in a trusted community of peers, with elephants draped in EO flags. Additionally, hobnobbing with the Raja’s of Mewar truly gave me an experience of royalty. We also indulged in curated folk music and flew countless EO kites in the sky, all while celebrating the power of the entrepreneurship and our community.

Compelled by the euphoria of this event, I started working to bring the Entrepreneurs’ Organization to Gujarat. With some likeminded peers, we launched EO Gujarat in October of 2010. It has been a great journey to move forward together with my larger EO family. I have gained immense knowledge in terms of learning experiences and entrepreneurial skills. Yet, to date, the biggest gain from EO has been the priceless friends I have made for life.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization is built by member entrepreneurs, for member entrepreneurs. Member leaders from across the world work together to form the global board, various committees, regional leadership and chapter chairs. Learning to lead your peers and equals is by itself very gratifying. Serving this great community as a Regional Director of South Asia, I feel really happy and proud to be a part of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. It is a 3600 organisation that shapes an entrepreneur’s life and expands one’s thinking to a different level. For 30 years, the organisation has been shaped by entrepreneurs who have built a war chest of products and programmes for others around the world.

The peer-to-peer learning and overall environment is incredible. The search to grow from success to success that is inherent in an entrepreneur, is honed and nurtured within this strong community. EO members, collectively, offer a huge pool of knowledge, successes, experiences and achievements in their respective fields, which all EO members are given access to throughout their entrepreneurial journeys. In my knowledge, no other organisation across the globe is exclusively entrepreneur-centered, which is just one of the reasons why EO is so special.

At the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, there are multiple, varied, and customised channels and opportunities for learning and growth. To name a few: chapter learning events, forums, regional and global events, executive education programmes, virtual learning, award-winning publications and mentorship. No matter how successful one is as an entrepreneur, these once-in-alifetime resources and opportunities are worth more than money.

Amongst so many products and platforms, EO’s Leadership Academy is the one that has transformed my life and business the most. The programme afforded me the chance to interact with incredible leaders and speakers, which has resulted in bringing changes in my life in terms of my health, business and the way I look up to my family. What’s more, it has also enabled me to effectively deal with my employees, peers and many others.

We have a hundred Academy alumni across the globe, all of whom share an appreciation for this invaluable EO offering. EO’s Leadership Academy is an advance learning programme with a purpose of igniting the personal transformation required for great leadership, and to advance the leadership skills of rising EO member leaders, enabling them to have a greater impact on the vitality of their families, communities, businesses and personal lives. The programme also prepares elite member leaders for service at the highest levels of EO.

EO’s vision is to build the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs, and to create a one-of-akind experience through learning, sharing and growing together. This organisation is one of the most inspirational organisations in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and I am proud to be a part of it.
