How Ayurveda Works-- Immunity depends on the physical and mental wellbeing. While Mental wellbeing depends on how de stressed and relaxed we are, physical wellbeing is based more on good and intact digestion. The digestive fire responsible for digesting food is Agni which should be balanced for a good absorption. The food we eat is digested in 7 stages in the body called as 7 dhatus. When the 7 dhatus ( breaking of food, blood tissue, muscle tissue, fatty tissues, bones, bonemarrow, shukra) are nourished properly , OJAS is created in the body, This OJAS is the key to strong immunity. This implies all 7 channels are to be kept clean and strong to develop a strong immunity.
COVID 19 gives Kapha imbalance

Thus the same medicines work whether u have Covid or no Covid. As per Ayurveda our body has main three constituents- Vata, Pitta and kapha. Every virus has a different area of attacking the body part. Covid 19 attacks the lungs. This is area of KAPHA IMBALANCE in upper part of the body. Medicine given is based on managing the aggravated kapha. Dr Godwin, a famous Ayurveda physician from India prescribes below medicines.
