Bajaj Avenger 180 Pictures Leaked; Might Come With A Lower Price Tag Than Suzuki Intruder

It is not just the pictures that have got leaked, but the price of Bajaj Avenger 180 have also been disclosed. It is priced around Rs 18,000 lower than Suzuki Intruder

Ahead of its launch in India, the leaked images of two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto’s cruiser motorcycle – the Bajaj Avenger 180 Street have already started circulating on the web.

According to some reports, certain dealerships of Bajaj Auto have already started taking bookings for the upcoming Avenger 180. This means that the bike might get launched soon in India.

It is not just the pictures that have got leaked, but the price of Bajaj Avenger 180 have also been disclosed. If reports are to be believed the cruiser will be priced for Rs 83,400 that makes it around Rs 18,000 lower than its closest competitor Suzuki Intruder. The Intruder is available for Rs 102,072 (all prices ex-showroom Mumbai).

Bajaj Avenger 180

The Avenger 180 will most likely sport the same 178.6cc 4-stroke, 2-valve, twin spark BS-IV compliant, air-cooled, DTS-i engine, as the Bajaj Pulsar 180. The engine gives out maximum power of 17.02PS @ 8500rpm and peak torque of 14.22Nm @ 6500rpm.

As per the leaked images, the Bajaj Avenger 180 comes without a fully digital instrument cluster and ABS (Anti-lock brake system), unlike Suzuki Intruder.

Looks wise it is somewhat similar to its elder sibling Bajaj Avenger 220, and dons a front disc brake, and rounded headlamp with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights).

The new Bajaj Avenger 180 Street will be available for sale in two colours of Red and Black.

Suzuki Intruder

Suzuki Intruder comes equipped with 154.9cc 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, 2 valve engine that churns out an engine output of 14.8PS @ 8000rpm and torque of 14Nm @ 6000rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

It measures 2130mm X 805mm X 1095mm, with 1405mm of wheelbase, 170mm of ground clearance and 740mm of seat height.

The bike sports legendary Intruder style headlamp with projector like LED position lamp, smart digital instrumentation with the same engine RPM indicator as the Hayabusa and GSX-R1000, LED tail lamp that features a compact design with horizontally laid out LED lights, sharp twin exhaust, and ABS (Anti-lock brake system).

It is available in two colours – Metallic Gray/Metallic Matte Black, and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matte Titanium Silver.
