What are you reading at the moment? What did you recently finish reading? What have you learnt from it?

CurrentlyI am reading Making Breakthrough Innovation Happen by Porus Munshi.Just finished reading India After Gandhi by Ramachandra Guha. This book is a great chronicle of post-independent political history of India. It forms exciting reading to see how India represents a notion of nationhood quite distinct from the conventional understanding of “nationhood” being driven by commonality of faith, values, language or religion.

The one book all leaders must read...
Execution by Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan.
One book everyone in your sector should pick up...
Diffusion Of Innovations by Everett Rogers which is a fundamental theory of how new ideas and innovations spread and what can be done to accelerate their adoption.
What kind of books would you normally buy while travelling?
Books on business, Indian politics and history, entrepreneurship, and then some diverse subjects like religion, consumer behavior among others.

Have you written any books? If not, do you plan to write in future?
No plans in this direction.
The books you grew up with? What did you like most about it?
I liked reading Hardy Boys, Amar Chitra Katha. They formed interesting stories.

Your book shelf consists of....
I might have over 100 books on my actual home bookshelf some of which i have mentioned already.
Where do you shop for books?
I like shopping at bookstores such as Midland, Crossword and other local book shops. I also purchase books online from Amazon and Flipkart.

Have your reading habits changed in the past four or five years? If so, how....
They have become more diverse in the range of topics. Few years back, it was predominantly business; now it’s a much wider spread.

One book you cherish that you received as a gift... and who gave it to you.
None really – may be people should gift me more books J But people have frequently recommended books that I have loved. The most recent one, India After Gandhi, was recommended by Ajay Agrawal,co-founder of UnitedLex, one of our portfolio companies.
