All That Is Experiential

The jury assessed each applicant under different parameters to evaluate the effectiveness and the impact they have made on their journey.

To honor the hard work and dedication of the event and experiential industry professionals, BW Businessworld and BW Applause Experiential Marketing Awards organised the jury meet. The daylong meet was held at  Taj Vivanta, Dwarka, New Delhi on 28th January 2020, where over 350 nominations were evaluated and scored by the jury. The events and activations industry in India is expected to cross Rs 10,000 crore mark by 2020-21, as per an EY-EEMA (Event and Entertainment Management Association) report. The current age marketers know the importance of experiential in their marketing mix and the benefit it has on their brand’s ROI.

The jury meet brought together leaders and experts from the industry to discuss and evaluate the nominations received for the awards. The eminent members of jury included names like Deepesh Salgia, Director, Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate Strategic Vision, Mughal-e-Azam, Sanjeev Handa, Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Tushar Dhingra, Founding CEO, Dhishoom Cinemas, Sudhir Mishra, Founder & Managing Partner, Trust Legal, Varun Kohli, CEO, iTV Network, Ved Shukla, Founder & CEO, Mylomart, Janardan Pandey, Founder & Managing Director, Nett Value Media, Tuhina Pandey, Head - Global Corporate Communications & Public Affairs, Tech Mahindra, Sunil Kumar, President, exchange4media Group, Ramita Chaudhuri, Head - Global Corporate Communications & Public Affairs, Tech Mahindra, Inayat Bhutani, Bhutani Infra,  Anshul Gupta, Senior Manager, Strategy & Product, Hero MindMine, Vivek Malhotra, Group CMO, India Today Group, Imran Qadri, Head - Marketing & Corporate Communications, Harley-Davidson India and Amit Diwan, PayU.

Each entry showed exemplary work and exceptional contribution and was appreciated by the industry experts. The jury had a multi-level evaluation framework for all the nominations.

The jury assessed each applicant under different parameters to evaluate the effectiveness and the impact they have made on their journey.  Some of the parameters for scoring were: objectives and planning, event/meeting design, participant engagement, innovation and creativity. The nominations present were from a variety of categories like corporate events, social events, weddings, festivals, business conference, auto event and many more. To felicitate the finest professionals in the events and experiential marketing industry, 3rd edition of BW Applause Experiential Marketing Summit and Awards will be held on 5th and 6th February 2020 at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka, New Delhi
