Neena Dasgupta, CEO and Director of Zirca Digital Solutions, has made her way into a domain dominated by men, riding on her strength in business outcome solutions and integrating digital marketing campaigns for clients. Her expertise in digital media has helped build Zirca Digital Solutions into an independent digital media solutions brand.
Dasgupta has over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry and joined Zirca, while it was still evolving. Since then the company has expanded aggressively. “A journey as an entrepreneur is a never-ending one. If your vision is dynamic and sustainable, you will endure failure and cherish success,” says Dasgupta.
Founded in 2012, Zirca Digital Solutions has been providing digital advertising and content solutions to various brands. The company has three key verticals, Content and Brand Solutions, Representation and Platforms. These work in tandem to unlock the value of the client and digital assets.
The company has recently launched a tool (ContentiQ) and a management platform named ContentdB, respectively. ContentiQ is an audience intelligence tool, which enables brands to create digital content matching identities, needs and preferences of their target audience. It mines primary research, behavioural data and panel data to match content with the right publication portal so that it reaches the right audience with minimal effort. ContentdB helps marketers run global content campaigns using multiple network such as Taboola and Outbrain and premium digital publishers at minimal cost. It can also monitor campaign performance across all channels from one comprehensive dashboard. It is Asia’s First Integrated Native Advertising Management Platform.
“Before Zirca and our developments, we relied on market demographics to inform our strategies, a method lacking in finesse. Thanks to the data-analysis inherent in ContentiQ however, Zirca can help a client make better content marketing decisions, based on user behaviour profiles,” says Dasgupta.
Zirca has had a topline of Rs 68.16 crore, Rs 103.44 crore and Rs 204.36 crore for FY17, FY18 and FY19 respectively. It made a profit of Rs 0.22 crore and Rs 9.97 crores during FY18 and FY19. The company aims for a gain of $100 million by end 2022.
Zirca envisions being a global brand integral to digital communication. Dasgupta’s company generates true value for all partners and stakeholders. Asked about a milestone, Dasgupta proudly says, “The company comprises some of the creams of the crop of the digital world. Our people are a blend of creativity and scientific curiosity. One of the major markers that we set for ourselves at the beginning of the journey was to employ 100 of such talents.”
