There are possibly few women (or even men for that matter) who have successfully built a digital advertising agency from scratch that has a workforce of more than 200 professionals across Delhi and Bombay and can boast of many clients on its roster. The only person that can boast of such credentials is Ayesha Chenoy, a digipreneur who decided to bring an unprecedented digital revolution in the country by laying the foundation for RepIndia in 2013. The company also has the credibility as the single largest Reputation Brand Management agency to the likes of the Tata’s Adani’s Jindals’, the largest hospital chains and airlines.

“We aim to create the most disruptive, happy and proud advertising agency that questions stereotypes and helps change the discourse or the narrative that holds us back as civil society. As a corporate, our goals have always been different, and while we concentrated on scale, profitability and a positive culture, I have personally been interested in mentoring as many women as I can, changing the way digital advertising is done and changing people’s lives by setting their minds more free,” says Ayesha Chenoy, Founder and CEO, RepIndia.

She adds, “Because the kind of disruption we have caused in the market by having a digital-first, creative first approach has meant that none of the old boy networks like Dentsu or Ogilvy has the scale of brands or clients that a 6-year-old agency run by a woman has managed to achieve.”

“The success that I witnessed in investment banking coupled with my passion for creative writing and understanding of finance has helped my company to emerge as one of India’s most successful independent digital agencies, that has within 7 years, got a larger set of clientele and is truly a ‘Make in India’ story,” maintains Chenoy.

Some of the marquee brands RepIndia has partnered with are Canon, FabIndia, Whisper, Godrej, Colors Hindi, Adani, Tata Trusts, MTV Beats, Alt Balaji, Fortis, Medanta, VH1, Care Hospitals, JSW Steel, Havells, Luxor, SCW, etc. “The endless experimentation and ingenuity that drives conversations; the countless hours of perseverance; the vision of pushing our brands to the top of the digital mountain; and, of course, an obsession with being change-makers- this is essentially what makes us one of the best digital agencies in India,” affirms Chenoy.
