‘We Are Three Years Ahead Of The Market’
No one in the world has the depth of technology that we do. We are happy to be a part of a brave new world
On the relevance of the company a decade from now:
I would say the whole world would move to automation. We are very proud that we are part of that journey not only with automation but with deep tech. So digital is not automation and automation is not cognitive. We are already in the cognitive space. Because of all this automation, human relations will become very critical. We are getting into a world where humans manage relationships and machines do the rest.
On the future of the business:
We are already about three years ahead of the market and competition in terms of our product lines. No one in the world has the depth of technology that we do. We are happy to be a part of a brave new world.
On the relevance of new-age ideas like AI to the business:
We do a lot of AI by capturing eyeball movements of the candidates. Eyeball movement is 70 per cent of the communication. Then we do choice of words, tone and facial expressions, micro-expressions near the eyes. We already capture a lot of that and convert it into a 48-attribute personality report. So machine learns the attributes you are hiring.
On job opportunities in the domain:
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc., will not take away jobs. But it will take away your job if you are not moving up the curve. Today everybody is focussed on the transactional part of the job. It has to move to the relationship part of the job. I think a lot of job description synthesis will happen in terms of the relationship part, which will start getting value and the transaction part will be taken by the machines. And all this will throw a lot of analytics to see.
Message to young entrepreneurs and startup founders:
Don’t just give up just because there is a challenge at every turn. The only way you will not give up is when you are tied to a purpose.
