"More Than 11 Million People Serve The Security Industry, In India"

A global thought leadership webinar on Outstanding Security Performance and Awards (OSPAS) was organized by BW Businessworld on Saturday in order to exchange the best and next practices adapted by Security professionals across the world and felicitate them.

The program designed to recognize security entities both independent and inclusive, for extensive and outstanding performance in the field of security.

Dr. Annurag Batra, CEO, and Editor in Chief, BW Businessworld, presented his views as inaugural address in the platform, wherein he shared that the security industry is one of the significant contributors of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country.

Dr. Batra, further said: “The domain of Security and Surveillance is one of the prime and foremost important sectors in the country and find its usage in almost all public and government domains. The security industry is one of the leading domains in the industry with committed outsource security professionals who aims to provide us secured life-risking their own.” 

He further added that the security industry is witnessing the right and complete use of technology within the domain leading to the daily transformation of the industry through innovations. The industry is to witness exponential surging trends with leading technology companies foraying into this sector of operations and security companies adapting to the best modern techniques available in the market.

Dr. Batra further asserted: “More than 11 million people of our country are employed in the security and surveillance industry. If market trends are to be followed, the ever-increasing requirement of safety and surveillance are further enhanced with the boom of smart cities, which has led to the rise of security and surveillance trends in the country.”
